Shaina Painter is an experienced licensed Clinical Nutritionist and integrative health practitioner. She is passionate about guiding her clients to transform their relationship with food, unlock their innate healing potential and become their most vibrant selves, all through a root cause lens.

Shaina is a proponent of Health at Every Size (HAES®) and believes in taking a mindful, non-diet approach to health and prevention. She draws from functional medicine, herbalism, and Ayurveda to inform her work, while embodying the principles of Intuitive Eating.

Shaina's personal journey with health began after a serious horse accident and a diagnosis of autoimmune thyroid disease. As someone who grew up in the 90s with diet culture ingrained in her, she struggled with her relationship with food in her high school years and tried everything to alleviate her symptoms. Through deep work, holistic healing modalities, and reconnecting with her authentic self, she was able to make peace with food and reclaim her vitality.

Shaina offers 1:1 client sessions at Nutrition Hive, and is a Clinical Supervisor for CNS interns at Clinician's Incubator. Through her clinical practice and personal experience, Shaina strongly believes in the power of herbalism, embodiment work, positive psychology, gentle nutrition, and most importantly, tapping into our intuitive wisdom.

Shaina has contributed to well-regarded publications including Mind Body Green, The Thirty, Nike, and POOSH. She is also a content creator for various channels and has worked with brands such as Vital Proteins, Parsley Health, Culturelle, Nono Pasta, and the Alaskan Fish Co.

My 7 Pillars of Health

01. NOURISHMENT

An intuitive, aligned diet rich in colorful, diverse plants such as fruits & vegetables, wholesome grains, nuts, seeds, legumes, & high-quality protein.

02. MOVEMENT

Flow through empowering, motivating movement daily that evokes challenge, yet is exciting and energizing.

03. HYDRATION

Enjoy filtered, mineral-rich water to hydrate on an intracellular level & bathe in moisturizing botanical oils to hydrate the skin from the outside in.

04. MINDSET

Adopt tools like mindfulness and positive psychology to embrace challenge & change with ease.

05. CONNECTION

Maintain supportive, uplifting relationships and cultivate connections within your community. Develop interoceptive awareness and trust within your body to tune into the signs and signals it is relaying.

06. REJUVENATION

Prioritize 8 restful hours of sleep, bask in the sun, breathe deeply often, and relax when you need it. Engage in daily stress-reducing activities like yoga, meditation, or self-care rituals.

07. FULFILLMENT

Cultivate the courage to live out your passion every day. Travel, laugh deeply, cry, have fun, fall in love, and most importantly, aim to live wildly.
